Doug Pitassi - Drums/Vocals

Doug came up in the rich Northwest musical tradition that centered around the great jazz program at Mount Hood Community College. He studied drumming with Neil Dupont and Mel Brown, and while on scholarship at Mt. Hood, he played in bands, orchestra and the pit groups for many a musical show. Also while at Mt. Hood, he taught drums and drumline to area high school students. As a professional, he played for several years with the local group "The Johnny Rip-Off Band" performing a wide repertoire of covers at Portland area clubs. He is the driving force and leader of The Denominators.
