Michael Bard - Saxophone/Vocals

Originally from Chicago, Michael Bard has spent the last 30 years in the Northwest as a composer, professional musician and audio post-production engineer, scoring music for TV and radio, producing self-guided audio tours for museums and attractions, and acting as Sound Supervisor for many feature length film and television projects. Before finding himself on the other side of the console, Michael released four records, with the band he co-led called "Matrix", and with the "Simon and Bard Group" which included guest appearances by guitarists Larry Coryell and Ralph Towner. His career includes multiple tours of the U.S. and Canada with an appearance at the Monterey Jazz Festival as Stan Kenton's lead saxophonist. His role as co-leader of the Denominators allows Michael to stretch his musical reach into areas of pop, blues and rock music.
